The oiltank - the Merlin is a dry sump engine. Lower down is the carburettor intake. Engineer Peter Pring-Shambler running up the Merlin - "probably my favourite job."    
Inside the cockpit - the undercarriage control. Original bakelite fuel switches.    
  Propellor boss usually hidden behind the spinner.    
Looking toward the stern from the radio hatch we see the rudder and elevator control wires. The tailwheel oleo can also be seen.
