A New Zealand assembled F60S.

Max Hedges acquired this 1942 Canadian built F60L with an unusual sliding roof hatch positioned further forward than the normal hatch. Although it looks like a post war fabrication, Max points out it is painted the same khaki as the rest of the cab. Canadian built F60L cab 13s are rare in Australia - most Canadian built models are F15s. The mystery was solved when it became apparent it was actually a New Zealand assembled version.
Max with his latest treasure. Thanks to John Laker for these photographs.
At first, we were completely confused as to the possible origins of this vehicle.

More speculation and detail pics taken in August 2002.
