 Australian Military Vehicle Field Specifications      
The Australian army created a system of numbers to identify individual vehicle types. These were stamped onto square brass plates affixed to vehicles. Foolscap lithographed books were published describing each vehicle type and specifying the equipment issued with that vehicle. They were separated into two volumes
