Differences in Ford and Chev 15 cwt bumper mounts

Max at the wheel of his LP 2A carrier on his farm near Yass. Hull number 3051 was acquired from the Australian War Memorial in a swap for his very original Chevrolet truck
Max also owns this rare CMP semi trailer which he has hitched to his ex fire service F15A. These trailers were used to carry items like pontoons, rafts, box girder bridges and folding boats. (Trailer Mk. III). These generally used 134" wheelbase tractors.
The truck was modified for use as a fire truck. Note the cut down dash and pump taps on right. Max used to drive this when it was in use in it's former life. Railway track bumper and 20" wheels..
Engine cover still almost intact...
1941 Chevrolet C60L painted in Light Stone over Khaki which would indicate possible Western Desert history.
This is unusual... A Queensland and a New South Wales soldier scratched their serial numbers into the paintwork.
