 WW2 GM-H film
In 1944 General Motors - Holden made a publicity film outlining the wartime production at their plants around Australia. It was made in colour and I have a copy (minus the sound) on DVD. I've extracted a few stills to show some of the CMP content.
These are 1944 production vehicles with canvas covered doors, but not yet fitted with hub lifting adaptors. This looks to be a batch built for the RAAF.
From Sydney's Pagewood plant comes this shot of a No6 arty tractor.
From Brisbane, new C60Ls roll out of the plant.
Meanwhile, in Adelaide new cabs are prepared for shipment to other plants.
