Michael Claringbould is an aircraft historian specialising in the aircraft used in the Pacific area during World War II. In his archives he also has vehicle images which he is kindly sharing with us here. Michael has a website which is well worth a visit to those interested in aviation archaelogy
This group of three images were taken at Port Moresby in 1943. The first is interesting, showing a Jeep with a field mod to cut down on the amount of mud and dust thrown up. Another Jeep and trailer next to a GMC Deuce and a half.
