|What a treasure trove! I took these photographs when visiting Bankstown with Nelson Wilson. We were in Sydney to collect his No.9 FGT, and took time out to see this fascinating place. The first three pictures feature aircraft of the late Sid Marshall collection.|
|Messerschmitt Bf-109G6/U2, W.nr.163824 now in ANZAC Hall at the Australian War Memorial.||In front of the Me 109 is the Japanese Oscar.|
|Supermarine Spitfire MV154 A58-671, a MK HFVIIIc. The Spitfire was sold to Robert Lamplough in 1979 and was exported to the UK where it is now based at Filton Airfield, Bristol, Avon. It has been restored to an airworthy state and has appeared in two films Dark Blue World and Pearl Harbour.
