 MVCSSA Armoured cars
The Military Vehicle Collectors Society of South Australia moved their collection from Port Adelaide to Salisbury in 2006, and have an interesting base in the former Blue Streak Rocket assembly hall. On this page we'll take a look at some of the armoured cars in the collection.
Mk II Rover 77632 "Ned Kelly" was acquired at Colin Anderrson's auction in 2004 and has been restored. Known as the mobile slit trench, Rovers were based initially on a F60L cab 12 chassis for the Mk I and a cab 13 F60S chassis for the Mk II.
Also originally from Colin Anderson is this LP3 armoured car based on a Ford Marmon-Herrington chassis.
The collection also boasts a Saracen and Saladdin armoured cars.
