went to SDF for carbon monoxide tests 27/8/43 served with 5 and 84 Sqn; coded BF-N with "U Beaut II" on the cowl with a man in a tux riding on a broom while with 5 Sqn and usually the a/c of S/L Cook; converted to components 4/45.
2 aircraft back is BF-H 146-182, another CA-13 C/N 1005 which served with 5 Sqn and coded BF-H; involved in a landing accident at Cape Hoskin, New Britain 12/3/45; converted to components 8/45.served with 5 Sqn and coded BF-H; involved in a landing accident at Cape Hoskin, New Britain 12/3/45; converted to components 8/45.
